CWC with Pipay and Cza - May '09

*sighs*

14 - 17 May 2009

Seems like yesterday, Pips. Haay.

"Coaster!"

Oh, and do you guys know that she's my first lesbo lover? Hahaha! I kid.

Besides having both our phones act up: her iPhone couldn't stand the heat so it decided to jump off Pipay's hands to take a dip, just don't ask where; and mine suddenly wouldn't turn on; and the frikkin coaster left us... Twas still hella fun. And the long drive was love.

Jomalig Island

14 March 2009

I was on leave from the 11th-16th for the Hong Kong-Macau trip but because something happened with my passport, I wasn't able to go. Effin DFA peeps were asking for 7,000php so I can leave but I said no. Aren't our monthly taxes enough? Oh, and up yours!

Anyways, so Lance just flew us to... Jomalig!

In-Flight Food

The in-flight food reminded us of the bombs we used to play back in high school made of baking soda and vinegar. We didn't want to touch it at first 'coz it looked like it's going to explode any moment. Joel opened it, and guess what happened? Hahaha! I'll post the clip once Joel uploads it.

Piloting A Real Plane

I've never driven a car before and the only "piloting" that I've done were the ones at Lance's house back in college. So twas nice to pilot a plane. A real one. It gets kinda boring sometimes though 'coz you don't have to maneuver around streets and there aren't other cars to race with.

I know how to work the yoke and the rudder but my head spins when I see the numbers on the "dashboard" and I guess it'll really take time to learn about radials, and transponders, and altitudes, etc.

I love reading the checklist, and boy, pilots have sexy voices! Dang! Hahaha!

Oh, and stated here, Joel's now an official member of The Mile High Club. Welcome! Hahaha!

On second thought, I shouldn't even congratulate him 'coz I'm the only girl with them. Hmmm...

Jomalig

Put it this way, normal beaches have gray or black sand. Boracay, Amanpulo, Palawan, etc has white. But this place has gold sand baby!

According to Wikipedia, it only has a population of about 6,000 people so no wonder why everyone knows everyone. Motorcyles are the only means of transportation here, which explains the narrow streets, and it's normal to see ladies and little boys riding motorcycles too.

Me No Likey Cotton Candy Clouds Anymore

You can ask Lance, the two things that I uber like are turbulence and rough landings. I still liked 'em not until I sat at the back on our way home. Lesson learned:

Cessna + Cotton Candy Clouds + Passenger Seat = Bad Combination

Plus, the same effin clouds that we passed by on the way to the island brought rain for a couple of minutes too. Boo!

Two months after winning a trip for two to Bohol, I found myself back to the land of Peanut Kisses! Hahaha!

There was confusion on who should bring a cam so... well, to make the long story short, we had to resort to using our trustee camera phones. So pardon the picture quality.

Anawangin Cove, Capones Island Lighthouse & Janbutchoy's Bday (30 Nov - 04 Dec 2008)

Pics are reposts from Charmoy's site.

Anawangin Cove
30 Nov 2008

Stripped to bare necessities.

If you're into pitching tents and barbeques, if you can live in a place with a basic john and with absolutely no way to contact the "outside world" (it's basically a dead spot), then Anawangin's the perfect place for you.

Forget about your iPods. Get your guitars, circle out on the beach with a bonfire and have your Kumbaya nights. There's no electricity so God bless the sun and the moonlight.

A friendly reminder: my dear smoking and drinking buddies, there are NO stores/establishments there so stock up on some beer and smokes.

I'd never EVER wish to be alone in a deserted island anymore. I demand a round of beer for the whole story. Contact me: +63916 789 5386.

PS
I saw Mark YƱiguez there. Yebah!

Capones Lighthouse
02 Dec 2008

Lucky we're still alive.

From Anawangin, another boat ride took us to Capones Island. Gawd we're uber thankful to be alive after what happened to us the night before. Again, I demand a round for the whole story.

From the shore, you'll take about a 45 min trek up the lighthouse.

SM Clark and Sub Delicious
03 Dec 2008

Janbutchoy's Bday!

Gave Butchoyboy a mock interview, then went to Sub Delicious.

Love their gi-normous subs and pizzas!

Wahaha! Everyone sang with the band but me and Louie.
